This article is devoted to analysis of structure, dynamics, and state of competitive environment at the different coordination levels of Ukrainian consulting services market participants. The authors identify three coordination levels of market entities: «firm-client», «firm-firm» and «firm-state». By analyzing «firm-client» level we gained an impression about features of the market supply and demand. There were analyzed positive and negative sides of the most usable on practice concentration ratios at the «firm-firm» level. Also were uncovered some principal limitations of concentration indexes. These weaknesses may cause to some skewing of eventual research results. Study of the «firm-state» level made it possible to evaluate the nature and extent of government regulation of the market.

On the basis of the array of official accounting data on Russian banks calculated the concentration indicators of the domestic banking system in the context of its development, as well as by major business segments: lending to businesses and organizations, individuals, attracting deposits (deposits) funds, as well as temporary available to individuals and businesses.

Such problems of the modern professional education as the quality of education, corruption, unfair competition, etc., are examined in the article. On the basis of the conception of social responsibility (CSR) of business the essence of social responsibility of educational institutions is determined and the thesis of the necessary inclusion of CSR in HEI management is actualized. The investigation results of CSR development level in HEI of Moscow region are set forth.

The article is devoted to the issues of the manifestations of competition in the insurance market of the Russian Federation with regard to the different theories of insurance. The peculiarities of the market and intermarket competition by using the following theoretical approaches: the «insurance as security», «insurance as a method of risk management», «insurance through funds», «insurance as an economic category», «as a contract of insurance», «insurance through insurance protection» and «theory of institutional development of the insurance market» are analyzed. Forms of intermarket competition in the insurance market are identified and justified. The causes of intermarket competition, its positive and negative impacts of the insurance market in macro- and micro- levels are described.
